Yoga classes begin as gentle yoga-a great yoga introduction for BE members desiring to increase flexibility, strength and balance. A gentle class uses yoga poses to maintain health, reduce stress and slow down the effects of aging. The gentle yoga poses and breathing promote wellness, flexibility and strength.
The benefits include an increase in energy level, stamina and improved joint health. Gentle yoga comprises a wide range of mind/body practices, ranging from postural and breathing exercises to deep relaxation and meditation.
No flexibility is required and chairs are available if desired.
